Rookie Cards, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Punkin' Pie...these were all inspired by great memories from days gone by.
It’s been 3 years since we last released the last ROOT BEER FLOAT blend! It takes us that time to search out the tobaccos necessary to create a new (AND EVEN BETTER) iteration of this extremely unique blend profile.
Think about it…what tastes like root beer? It’s sweet. It’s spicy. It’s peppery. It’s “molasses-y”. Then add to it the luscious Vanilla ice cream flavors! (It’s probably the best cigar flavor profile you can imagine—and one of the hardest to create using tobaccos!)
So get ready for one of the greatest cigar smoking experiences you’ve ever had!
ROOT BEER FLOAT 2024 is a retro-styled cigar that utilizes vintage tobaccos and is blended in a very Cubanesque profile. It's retro in it's packaging, retro in it's tobaccos, and retro in it's phenomenal blend profile.
ROOT BEER FLOAT 2024 is a full-bodied, medium-strength 6x54 super toro. The wrapper is a pristine 12-year-aged Corojo 99 rosado leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret. But all tobaccos are aged between 5-12 years!
First light is a wave of creamy vanilla, aged leather, clove, and brown sugar. Maple syrup sweetness appears with hints of white pepper. Retrohale adds a warming cinnamon burn. The finish is long and clean with additional notes of vanilla bean.
As it progresses, white cake frosting and milk chocolate emerge. Hints of bourbon barrel, raw cane sugar, cardamom, cashew and all-spice are tasted.
Halfway the body of the cigar begins to strengthen. Notes of honey, cocoa, heavy whipping cream and molasses. The pepper grows into a red pepper with a greater bite. The richness and depth of the tobacco increases tremendously.
Last third the blend rounds out and becomes velvety smooth. Licorice, clove, and caramel appear. Buttercream and nutmeg round out the flavors—balancing the cigar perfectly. Additional hints of nutmeg and candied almonds dance on the tongue. So complex and delish!
ROOT BEER FLOAT 2024 is a cigar in a category all its own! The years of tobacco cultivation, the craftsmanship of the cigar, and the astounding flavors will have it landing squarely on the top of your top shelf!
