Brass Knuckles Maduro is an absolute game changer! The rare San Andres wrapper is "specially fermented" with a years long proprietary process that brings out it's oils and fragrance. Seriously, you can smell the age in the leaf.
This 6x52 beauty is filled with some Nicaraguan tobaccos and some secret tobaccos that we cannot disclose.
First light invades the palate with huge flavors of cocoa, cedar wood, and rich dark leather. The finish grows into creamed coffee and essence of vanilla bean. The retrohale is a full strength jalapeño pepper burn.
After an inch, it's obvious that this cigar is paradoxical. It's both aggressively raucous and the epitome of smooth. Gorgeous floral notes appear. A few more puffs and dark chocolate begins to take center stage in a big way. The nose is a perfect mix of oak wood and white pepper.
Halfway, the magic continues as the flavors and complexity fully engage one another. Flavors begins appear that are too many to list: coffee bean, merlot, toffee, caramel, toasted nuts, etc. Faint notes of black licorice vines can be tasted about 20 seconds after the initial puff. Amazing!
The last third, the cigar intensifies the flavor offerings but remains expertly balanced. Wonderful maple syrup sweetness makes a gentle appearance. The burn and draw are utter perfection!
You'll want to keep this "unicorn" under lock and key--away from prying eyes--in the most secret place in your humidor.
