Blessed Leaf TANAKH is a full bodied/medium strength 6x52 toro wrapped in a Corojo 99 rosado leaf. The fillers feature a San Andres binder and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli, Jalapa, and Condega.
We are known for our penchant for VERY old tobacco. We find the years of extra aging allow the tobacco to mature...bringing our their more refined character and complexity. And that tobacco is all we used for the Blessed Leaf TANAKH!
First light is magical! Smooth flavors cascade over the palate bringing blasts of vanilla bean, heavy cream, leather, and milk chocolate. Hints of white pepper and nutmeg on the long clean finish. The retrohale is spicy cinnamon with a bit of jalapeño.
Second third, a sweet oak flavor emerges. As it mixes with the vanilla, it begins to taste like rye whiskey. Hints of cocoa and baking spices appear on the finish. Absolutely amazing!
A little over halfway, the flavors and strength begin to accelerate. The body of the cigar grows. Big leather blasts across the palate with larger and larger burst of espresso and mocha. The finish coats the mouth in cinnamon and sugar.
The last third goes into orbit! The woodsy notes grow along with the sweetness. The finish lingers for a long time adding black pepper and brewing hops.
