Let me tell you...it’s not just all chocolate waterfalls and Oompa-Loompas over here at EZHQ. Sometimes we gotta show folks that the boys from TX are still rocking the joint...with the all attitude and ammo to match!
Dessert blends are fun...but REVOLVER: SMOKING GUN is what happens when we quit playing nice.
REVOLVER: SMOKING GUN is a full-throttle, hang-on-for-dear-life, extreme smoking experience! It’s LOADED (pun intended) with some of the richest and boldest ligero tobaccos we’ve ever lit up!
The boldness and richness really left us awestruck. On the very rarest of occasions....the sum of a cigar is even greater than it's parts...and that is certainly the case with this blend!
**Fair warning though...this isn't a beginner's cigar.
REVOLVER: SMOKING GUN is a full-bodied, med/full-strength 6.5x54 box-pressed short-churchill. The wrapper is a 12-year-aged Colorado leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret. But...all tobaccos are aged between 6-12 years!
Get ready...because as soon as you light this up....POW!
First light is a huge wave of dark caramel, red oak wood, espresso beans, and buttercream. Brown sugar immediately follows with hints of black pepper and cinnamon. Retrohale adds a peppery cayenne burn.
As it progresses, brown sugar and vanilla bean emerge. Aged leather, toasted almonds, and maple appear. The age of the tobacco is already starting to shine through. Absolutely incredible!
Halfway, the body of the cigar rounds out as the richness grows even more! Big notes of milk chocolate, cedarwood, Amaretto, and marshmallow join the mix. Hints of toffee, white pepper, and walnut balance the complex flavors impeccably!
Last third everything comes to a crescendo! Bold notes of cappuccino, cake frosting, red pepper, and cream. The finish is long on the palate adding toasted nuts, clove, cinnamon stick, and whiskey. The cigar is cool all the way to the lip-burning nub of the nub!
REVOLVER: SMOKING GUN is utterly phenomenal! Without a doubt, one of the single greatest Ezra Zion cigars ever released! (And if you think we're just saying that...I dare ya to just go ahead and smoke one!)
