Winter Ale

It's the last day of the year and we're smack-dab in the middle of winter! Snow is coming (or here), the weather is cold, and it's our very last cigar release of 2018!

Believe me, we've saved the best for last!

Winter Ale is a one of the richest and most complex blends we've ever done. It's warming, nuanced, complex and uttlery delicious! 

Winter Ale is a full-bodied, medium/full strength 6x52 toro with a broom foot. Tobaccos are from Nicaragua, Indonesia, San Andres (and some places that will remain secret). All tobaccos are aged between 5-7 years. 

First light is a wave of white pepper, creamed coffee, and cinnamon stick. A blast of milk chocolate and oak cask follow. Finish adds a caramel and vanilla note. Retrohale has a strong burn and will water your eyes. 

As it progresses, the wrapper leaf begins to burn. Immediately, the blend takes on a very creamy body. Black pepper, cocoa, and malt appear. Subtle hints of beer hops begin to appear. The balance is perfect and the finish is long and clean.

Halfway, toasted nuts, semi-sweet chocolate, and spruce emerge. The sweetness begins to grow with the taste of cake frosting. Multiple baking spices appear: nutmeg, clove, and more cinnamon. The oak barrel flavor washes over the palate on the finish. Mind blowing!

Last third, spruce and leather emerge with hints of caramelized sugar. The strength and body swell. Hints of dark chocolate and heavy whipping cream round out the flavors making the mouth water!

The burn and the construction are absolutely impeccable throughout. Winter Ale is a cigar that you will undoubtedly smoke down to the nub! A total lip-burner!
