The popularity of the Army Men cigars has been overwhelming! The Green Army Men, Red Army Men, and Blue Army Men have become some of the most sought after "unicorn cigars" in the cigar community.
As always, we want to deliver a better cigar than the last--especially when it's another epic series release like BLACK ARMY MEN 2020 Ltd!
I can’t even begin to describe to you how rich and delicious this cigar is! It truly a cigar that turns the volume all the way up to 11 in flavor, balance, and complexity!
BLACK ARMY MEN 2020 Ltd. is a full-bodied, medium-strength 6x46 skinny toro. Wrapper is a gorgeous Criollo 98 leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret! But all tobaccos are aged between 7-10 years!
First light is a tidal wave of flavor! Dark chocolate, cardamom, nutmeg, and heavy cream rush over the palate. Espresso beans and white pepper follow close behind. Hints of cashew and cream round out the finish. The retrohale adds a warm cinnamon burn.
As it progresses, the body of the cigar becomes creamier. Big notes of caramel appear. An additional vanilla bean flavor emerges. As it mixes with the spiciness it takes on the flavor of dark spiced rum.
Halfway, the blends begins to grow even smoother. Milk chocolate, brown sugar, and oak come to the fore. The finish is clean adding a hint of toasted almonds and nougat.
The last third, the creaminess grows even more with notes of cinnamon spice and burnt sugar. Cake frosting, buttercream, and bourbon barrel round out the flavors all the way to the end. Completely phenomenal!!
