So we've waited patiently...and leaf by leaf...got what we needed to finally bring you BLUE ARMY MEN XL!
But I gotta tell you up front...this cigar is EXTREMELY LIMITED!
BLUE ARMY MEN XL is an exquisitely balanced, nuanced, and fuerte smoking experience. It's without a doubt one of the boldest cigars we've done. But that's not to say we sacrifice flavor for the sake of strength. (I think you know us better than that by now.)
The flavors are so rich and so delicious...that you might just have a new favorite cigar!
BLUE ARMY MEN XL is a full-bodied, full-strength 6x48 skinny toro. Wrapper is an oily Broadleaf maduro laid over very rare ligeros. Oh, and there's copious amounts of Medio Tiempo in there too! All tobaccos are between 6-10 years aged!
First light flavor is massive! This cigar hits full force right out of the gate! Flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, and black pepper explode onto the scene. Woodsy flavors of red oak and cinnamon stick follow close behind. The finish lingers long on the palate adding layers of cream. Retrohale is strong with a red pepper burn.
As it progresses, brown sugar and vanilla bean emerge. Aged leather, marcona almonds, and maple appear. The age of the tobacco is already starting to shine through. Absolutely incredible!
Halfway, the blend grows in even more complex! Milk chocolate, stout beer, and sweet cream emerge. Notes of clove, licorice and vanilla bean. On the finish, hints of toffee, white pepper, and walnut balance all the complex flavors impeccably!
Last third, the richness and depth of the blend go to a place that we didn't even know existed. Bold notes of cappuccino, chocolate frosting, and nutmeg appear. Caramel and dark leather grow with each puff. The finish begins to taste like Baileys Irish Cream. Unbelievable!
BLUE ARMY MEN XL is utterly phenomenal! There are some cigars that you just know deserve an award at the end of the year...and this is one of them!
