It’s taken us several years to release another Makin' Bacon blend. The reason is simple...it had to be better than all it's predecessors!
We know that the various projects we've done--Brass Knuckles, The Raven, Makin' Bacon, Blessed Leaf, Army Men, etc.--have become institutions in their own right.
That sets the bar even higher than usual. Every single release has to not only be a home run...it has to be a GRAND SLAM!

MAKIN’ BACON L.E. is a full-bodied, full-strength 5.75x46 skinny toro. Wrapper is a vintage Corojo 99 rosado leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret. All tobaccos are 6-11 years aged!
(But...I gotta warn you...this is a strong and sophisticated cigar. If you are a novice smoker, you might want to think twice.)
First light is a huge blast of caramel and red pepper. Leather, milk chocolate, and nougat follow close behind. The retrohale burns--adding wasabi and jalapeño. The finish lingers forever on the palate adding notes of iced tea and clove.
As it progresses, Italian espresso rushes into the blend along with a burnt whiskey barrel note. Hints of cocoa beans and dark porter beer emerge.
Halfway, heavy whipping cream appears and white pepper begins to tingle the tongue. The flavors become more hearty and toasty. Dark chocolate joins the mix along with subtle taste of Irish Cream liquor.
Last third is utterly magnificent! The blend has evolved into even more depth and richness. All of the aforementioned flavors are more pronounced with additional notes of graham cracker, vanilla beans, and mocha. The flavor and complexity are mind-blowing!
MAKIN’ BACON L.E. is a cigar to be cherished! The years of tobacco cultivation, the craftsmanship of the cigar, and the phenomenal flavors it produces put this in a category all by itself!
