Makin' Bacon Thick Cut is a 6x56 toro that features a gorgeous vintage San Andres maduro wrapper. The extra years of aging have brought out a chocolate character to the leaf that we've never seen in an SA wrapper!
The Nicaraguan fillers are 5-7 years aged!
Full strength and very full bodied, Makin' Bacon Thick Cut begins with a bold pepper blast across the palate and up through the retrohale. A wave of dark roasted coffee washes over the mouth. Deep, meaty leather and earthy notes are complimented by a long creamy finish.
As the Makin' Bacon Thick Cut progresses, hints of licorice and dried fruit add sweetness, while woodsy notes of maple and oak emerge. Warm cinnamon and heavy whipping cream add to the mix keeping the blend perfectly balanced!
The flavors in the final third continue to grow in intensity reaching a crescendo that'll have you burning your fingers at the end!
